The Budget Control Development Specialist for the 162nd Wing, Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) in Tucson, AZ, the incumbent prepares comprehensive financial statements and periodic reports. Key responsibilities include drafting annual budget requests for assigned program areas, alongside generating monthly budget projections and specialized financial analyses. The specialist diligently monitors and tracks all Civil Engineer (CE) Master Cooperative Agreements (MCA), Master Construction Cooperative Agreements (MCCA), Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization (SRM), Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Federal and State funds, and Military Construction (MILCON) budgets. This oversight ensures that all allocated funds are meticulously administered, executed, and safeguarded in compliance with regulatory standards. Furthermore, the incumbent collaborates with all echelons of Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA) and military leadership to guide budget formulation and strategic planning. The specialist is expected to analyze complex fiscal challenges, brief supervisors with actionable intelligence, and actively participate in developing strategic action plans and resolving financial discrepancies.
