The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing secretarial/office investigative support to the Legal Division and, in particular, to the Compliance Unit.
This position may offer the ability to work a hybrid remote work schedule (1 or more days per week), based upon the department's business needs and meeting of expected performance measures.

This position performs a variety of secretarial/administrative assignments to support Compliance Unit; ensures that secretarial/ administrative activity is performed thoroughly, professionally, in a timely manner, and in accordance with applicable law; generates high-quality work product, perform investigative duties to support the Compliance Unit.
Knowledge of:
• The Commission computer system.
• The Legal Division’s and Compliance Unit’s purposes, goals, organization, work flows,
equipment, and processes, including administrative and office procedures.
• Concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures related to state law pertaining to workers’ compensation.
• Using tools (NCCI) for monitoring insured status of employers.
• Internet Search Engines, social media and Government websites.

diverse perspectives are given the opportunity to collaborate and provide input.
• Gather and decipher information obtained from research to determine whether a business
is operating with employees.
