POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Program Manager, this position serves as a team member of the Dependent Children’s Services support pool and is responsible for the administrative work associated with the CASA, Court Improvement, Foster Care Review Board, and Parent Assistant Hotlines.
This position will perform administrative tasks to support the work of the CASA Program Manager, and is responsible for tracking all program projects and initiatives including organizing meetings, creating and editing forms, mailings, meeting room set-up, scheduling of equipment, prepare purchase requisitions and review disbursements for compliance with purchase requisitions, contracts, funding agreements, or tracking inter and intra department monthly, quarterly and annual informational, statistical and financial reports and obligations. It is the primary point of contact between the state office and local programs in all 15 counties and the record keeper of interactions with those programs and outside agencies. This position requires developing professional relationships and in depth institutional and current knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure consistency in collaborative efforts with the counties.
Other duties include staffing the Dependent Children’s Services reception desk, make travel arrangements, producing monthly activity and statistical reports from the CASAaz database. This position may also be required to attend and assist with Saturday CASA training sessions or other division training events.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and four years progressively responsible clerical experience. This position requires excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills, the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with highly emotional callers, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at one time. Additionally, this position requires a high degree of accuracy, knowledge of operation and capabilities of personal computers and proficient use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and skills in planning, implementing coordinating, and applying administrative procedures and support services.
