The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a self-motivator with strong customer service skills that will be responsible for the overall management of the Warden’s office. This position will also perform responsibilities including handling confidential correspondence and information, maintaining the filing and records retention for general office, inmate and staff correspondence at the Arizona State Prison Complex – Winslow. - Manages the Complex Warden’s Office to ensure all correspondence, visitors, phone calls, and special projects are addressed and followed-up on
- Meets with the Warden to discuss issues and/or special projects
- Attends various meetings and takes meeting minutes
- Maintains the Warden’s calendar of events
- Collects data to include special projects from Central Office, and data from weekly and monthly reports due
- Prepares general office reports, memos and correspondence
- Retrieves and delivers mail, stocks office supplies, and prepares files for retention to Warehouse
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
- Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) Personnel Rules and ADCRR policies and procedures
- Written and verbal communication
- Grammatical formatting using concise, specific, non-technical language
- Computer usage and various word processing and spreadsheet software
- Techniques in screening incoming calls, visitors, and telephone calls

- Two (2) years of professional office experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
