JOB SUMMARY:
The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System located in Phoenix, Arizona is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Application Developer. Under the direction and supervision of the Applications Development Manager, the Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and rollout of internal systems. Work to resolve and debug any defects in the applications used in a timely manner. The Application Developer will possess considerable working knowledge of multiple programming languages, multiple database management systems, and multiple development platforms including relational databases, SQL and application development in general. Help create technical documentation of all systems. Review, analyze and recommend improvements to existing systems architecture. Helps develop solutions to current and new needs as they arise from the group.
This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
