POSITION SUMMARY:
This position within the Information Technology Division will perform a high level of administrative and technical work managing complex projects associated with the configuration, implementation, and integration of the case management system utilized by the statewide adult probation system. As part of a project team, the position assists in identifying, defining, and developing solutions to complex business and automation requirements. The team also represents the user's interests in the system of operations and implementation of the application and when interfacing with other applications.
This position will develop project plans, determine operations and functional requirements for statewide probation automation efforts and assist the Project Manager, Project Leaders, and ITD Technical Lead. This position will also trouble-shoot efforts and complete work requested within the case management application, assist in preparing user specifications for complex and inter-related automation changes, and perform thorough software testing and second-level application support. Additionally, this position will serve as co-faculty and participate in training key probation personnel in probation automation and operations.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s in criminal justice, computer science, or related field. Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement. Five years of experience working in a court or criminal justice organization, performing improvement projects related to the subject matter.
The successful candidate will have experience with producing business requirements and design documentation, and significant system analysis work involving new and/or complex systems. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, as well as the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly both orally and in writing. This position also requires experience with all Microsoft desktop applications, and excellent interpersonal skills.
The preferred candidate will have knowledge of current Arizona court/criminal justice policies, practices and operations.
Travel level: up to 80% within the state of Arizona.
