The Utilities Division recommends thoroughly researched, sound regulatory policy and rate recommendations to the Commissioners, based on a balanced analysis of the benefits and impacts on all stakeholders and consistent with the public interest.
The main responsibility of this position will be to keep the Director’s office organized and on schedule. The position will be specifically responsible for administrative support functions for the Division Co-Directors, Administrative Manager, Administrative Services Officer, and Staff. This position will be responsible for preparing Open Meeting binders, scheduling meetings, answering incoming calls for the Co-Directors and coordinating travel for Division Staff. You will communicate with other agency staff, constituents, business community members, and members of the Legislative and Executive branches via phone, web conference, email and written correspondence. Your administrative duties may include tracking legislative issues, running Open Meeting and Special Open Meeting phone lines, letter, and memo writing. This position will also be involved in, and responsible for other duties as follows: Formatting, reviewing and routing, copying and docketing of Staff Reports, Testimonies and Open Meeting items. In addition, this position may provide backup to the Executive Assistant in the Executive Director’s office and the Executive Assistant to the Commission Wing.
