The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) is seeking a skilled Class & Comp Analyst to join our dynamic Human Resources Division. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key liaison between ADOA and over 90 state agencies, boards, and commissions, providing expert-level classification and compensation services.
As a Classification and Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including conducting job evaluations, FLSA determinations, position description writing, and compensation analysis. You will also participate in both short- and long-term projects, collaborating with multiple agencies to ensure fair and equitable compensation practices across the state.
This position offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in classification and compensation, providing valuable advice and counsel to agency management. Additionally, you will play a key role in interpreting HR policies, conducting research, and participating in process improvement initiatives.
As part of the Shared Services Team, you will cross-train in various HR functions, contributing to the overall success of the department. Occasional travel within the Phoenix metropolitan area may be required to visit off-site agencies.
