The Corporation Division approves corporate names and grants corporate or limited liability company status to entities organized under the laws of the State of Arizona; grants authority to foreign corporation and limited liability companies to transact business in the State; annual reports from all corporations of record; and maintains records for the benefit of public record and service of process.
You will respond to telephone inquiries regarding the submission, examination, and filing of corporation and limited liability company documents by providing information and conducting research of the public records maintained by the Corporation Division. This includes making corrections to the database as needed through research and extensive customer interaction. You will also participate in cross-training with other sections, including examination and processing of these documents in accordance with Title 10 and 29 of the Arizona Revised Statutes.
