POSTING DETAILS:
 
- The PDCE intern will join our team for up to 26 weeks, working 15-20 hours each week. 
- Start date - As soon as you’re ready we can accommodate your class schedule so that you may work during business hours.
-You will need to upload a copy of your resume, transcripts, and cover letter explaining how your skills are a good fit for this position, must have a current GPA standing of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- This is a paid internship. Compensation is based on education and related experience.  

 

JOB SUMMARY:
-We are seeking a motivated intern to develop a low-code/no-code dashboard to streamline and enhance the way we track training compliance data across the agency. This project is ideal for someone with an interest in data visualization, user-friendly design, and practical applications of low-code/no-code platforms.

-You would be a great fit if you have a working knowledge of building Low Code No Code solutions in platforms like Power Apps, Smartsheets, App Sheets, etc.
 
-In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in developing a functional, user-friendly dashboard while collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate real-world data. You will enhance your skills in data visualization, testing, and iterative refinement, while strengthening your ability to document processes and deliver effective training for end users. Additionally, you will build confidence by presenting the final product to stakeholders, gaining valuable exposure to project management, problem-solving, and organizational processes all while making a meaningful contribution to improving training compliance tracking. 
 
-You will be coached and mentored by the Talent Development Officer and/or others on the PDCE and IT teams by collaborating with them on group projects. 
 
YOU WILL BRING THE FOLLOWING TO THE INTERNSHIP: 
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Proficient in Web application development using Low Code No Code (LCNC) development platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, Google App Sheets, and Smartsheets.
● Time management, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to troubleshoot and identify potential technical challenges,
 
YOU WILL GAIN THE FOLLOWING FROM THIS INTERNSHIP:
● Software applications/solutions design and development in a real-world context.
● Experience working with experienced software development teams.
● Working with program/business teams to understand and gather requirements for software applications.
● Collaboration with a diverse team of professionals.
