POSITION SUMMARY:

In order to maximize the quality and impact that Arizona’s Judicial Branch has on the communities it serves, the Arizona Supreme Court has demonstrated a commitment to providing its employees the highest quality education and training programs possible. The Education Services Division serves as the primary coordinating unit to service this need, including for judicial officers, court staff, and probation officers throughout the state.

This position performs a variety of administrative support duties in the coordination of statewide education projects and programs. Essential functions of the position include scheduling and staffing committee meeting including taking minutes and preparing meeting materials. Tracking contracts and program registration, coordinating large mailings, compile data relating to program evaluations and performance measures, and prepares correspondence and reports.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma, or equivalent, plus three years of increasingly responsible experience in a full-function office. Knowledge and experience with a variety of office software and equipment is also required, including a minimum of intermediate-level skill with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Other requirements include strong communication and writing skills, effective organizational and time management skills, excellent grammar, and proofing skills with demonstrated proficiency, the ability to complete detailed work accurately and in a timely manner, the ability to follow oral and written instructions and manage several ongoing projects, and the ability to monitor deadlines and provide appropriate follow-up.

Knowledge of the Arizona court system and familiarity with contemporary adult education programming practices is preferred.

Must be able to able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
