The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a talented and professional Human Resources Analyst Intermediate who provides professional-level expertise researching human resources issues. - Gathers, analyzes, and prepares reports on HR metrics for agency management
- Extracts and formats data from the Human Resources Information Solution (HRIS) system
- Creates and maintains databases, spreadsheets, dashboards, and forms using various computer/web applications
- Combines volumes of data from various sources to ensure accurate and meaningful information is communicated as required
- Coordinates various special projects and task teams with internal and external resources
- Collaborates with internal and external resources and other agency units to accomplish assignments
- Participates in various individual and team projects
- Creates project plans and expectations, and monitors and evaluates activities
- Contributes to the unit’s strategy-based goals, objectives and results, and participates in LEAN (AMS) management process improvement initiatives
- Evaluates and recommends changes to enhance workflow, customer service, timeliness, etc.
- Documents, develops, and evaluates standard work
- Assists in developing and implementing employee surveys
- Generates reports and conducts data analysis based on survey responses
- Assists in implementing and administering the PI suite
- Provides technical guidance and support to the Human Resources Bureau to include preparing various reports and salary analysis
- Serves as a back-up to the Human Resources Supervisor (HR Analytics Manager) in the absence of the incumbent
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
- Research and data analysis methods and techniques, HRIS Report Writer, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, with an emphasis on spreadsheets expertise
- Project management and continuous process improvement methodologies
