Essential Duties
  • Receive, resolve, and follow up on all service requests submitted to the IT Helpdesk System
  •  Install, configure, manage, and maintain all supported end-user technology devices and applications
  • Perform basic to intermediate-level service on user accounts
  •  Document and maintain records of communication and actions taken to resolve Help desk requests
  •  Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inventory of end-user devices and applications
  •  Customer Service

 

Knowledge of
  • Policies, procedures, and programs of the immediate work unit Principles and practices of administration and management
  • Agency or program rules, regulations, and operating procedures
  • Federal and State laws (GITA) and regulations as they relate to the area of Information Technology
  • Current technology applicable to a K-12 educational environment
  • Project management concepts, principles, and their applications

Special Condition/Requirements
  • Must be able to pass FBI and State background check
  • Defensive Driver Training Program to be completed by all agency personnel that drive on State business
  • Degree in Information Technology OR several years of work-related skill, knowledge, and experience in the field of IT
  • Advanced ASL skills if working with students/staff who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Braille skills if working with students/staff who are blind or visually impaired
  • Must pass post-offer physical
