The Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) is seeking a dedicated Licensing Specialist to join our Licensing Services Division.
You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity of the industry by accurately processing applications, providing essential information, and upholding the standards set forth by Arizona statutes and regulations.

In this vital role, you will serve as a key point of contact for individuals navigating the licensing process, guiding them through the requirements to become licensed real estate professionals, and how to renew their licenses.
• Process a variety of Real Estate Licensing applications and forms in person with the licensee as well as electronically
• Interact with real estate licensees via phone calls, in person meetings, Online meetings, mail, and electronically
• Perform scanning, copying, and filling of documentation in multiple divisions as needed
• Provide phone and online assistance to real estate licensees and the public
• Compose and draft written correspondences
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of the real estate industry or customer service setting
Skills:
• Operations of standard office equipment including desktop computers, copier, scanners, and telephones
• Strong Oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to understand data
• Processing, reviewing, and following stated processes relating to applications
• Maintain effective cooperative communications to conduct business
• De-escalation skills when dealing with upset customers
Ability:
• Exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential and sensitive information
• Understand written and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately
• Organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks on a daily basis
• Work independently and communicate as a team player
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Work within deadlines
Required:
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a customer service representative or administrative assistant in a professional environment
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Arizona Revise Statutes and Arizona Administrative Code
• Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver license record checks, required to maintain acceptable driving records and complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11)
• Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment
