Provide interpreting services for the Board of Directors, Superintendent, and Agency Staff and students. Settings and topics of interpretation include, but are not limited to, educational meetings (IEP/MET), educational trainings (i.e. best practices, IDEA, etc.), parent conferences/meetings (i.e. home visits, behavioral meetings, etc.), agency sponsored family/community events, staff workshops/professional development, classroom and/or outside of class extracurricular activities for students, video or online media and/or public relations, platform interpreting, reciprocal interpreting with other state
agencies/organizations.
Flexibility in scheduling is preferred, which may include night and weekend work, as well as travel around Arizona.
Additionally, this position may manage and arrange interpreting services (such as CART/RTC), as needed when a lead interpreter is not present or selected.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
